Biography

Rémy Rajaona aka Méro, is a Toulouse artist with an atypical background, rather upside down from that of today’s graffiti artists since in the 2000s he began his art by experimenting with paintings, collages, graphs and stencils on a single medium, The canvas. This led him quickly to exhibit in various places from Toulouse to Bruges via Paris and London. Over time his art evolved into an urban art. An art that pleases since it is called to participate in several events such as the beautification of a hotel in Carcassonne, windows and restaurants in Toulouse, corporate walls in Valencia, show sets in Montpellier or Destinos Cruzados where he created a 20-metre fresco in Madrid. Whatever the medium, his painting is intended to be representative of the society in which he operates. He paints in reaction to what challenges him, questions him and/or touches him. Mero then offers us, through his works, his artist’s view of today’s world.
